Bing Gains U.S. Share For 8th Straight Month

Microsoft's Bing continues to make incremental progress in the U.S. Internet search market. In February, Bing held 13.94% of the market, up from 13.64% in January. It was the 8th month in a row that the company gained market share. Market leader Google (GOOG), meanwhile, rebounded to 65.7% share, up from 65.4%, after slipping in each of the last two months. Yahoo (YHOO) held 16% of the market, down a bit from 16.1% one month earlier. AOL (AOL) had 1.6% of the market, down from 1.7%, while Ask.com (IACI) slipped to 3.1%, from 3.2%.
